Glamorgan v Surrey, T20, Cardiff, 17/08/18

The final match of Glamorgan's T20 campaign was something of a damp squib ending in a DLS victory for Surrey after rain curtailed the visitors' chase of 184.

Both sides started the evening still hopeful of qualifying for the quarter finals via a top 4 place in the South Group. However, this relied on Sussex losing to Middlesex, which was unlikely to, and ultimately didn't, happen.

Glamorgan went pretty well in their 20 overs, although lacked the really big score to push them closer to 200. David Lloyd top scored with 39.

Rain delayed Surrey's reply but got in enough of their innings to pass the adjusted target of 36 for no loss in the minimum 5 overs required, with Aaron Finch blasting 44 not out off  just 16 balls.

Ultimately, Glamorgan just wasn't good enough in this year's T20 and is too reliant on Colin Ingram to score big and quickly.

Glamorgan v Essex, T20, Cardiff, 07/08/18

It was another tense finish at Sophia Gardens as Glamorgan got home by 6 runs against a competitive Essex outfit.

Put in, the home side posted an impressive 198 off its 20 overs, with main man Colin Ingram again superb with 89 not out, aided well by Graeme Wagg, who struck 53.

Essex struggled initially but were still in the game needing 23 off the last over with Ravi Bopara at the crease. Thankfully, Michael Hogan dug into all of his experience to restrict the visitors, and keep Glamorgan's good run going.

Glamorgan v Gloucestershire, T20, Cardiff, 03/08/18

Glamorgan closed out a thrilling last ball victory over Gloucestershire in a 400 run thriller on a warm Friday night in Cardiff.

The home side posted an excellent 201 in 20 overs with Craig Meschede top scoring with a brilliant 77 off 47 balls. But the visitors chased it right to the death, coming within 3 runs of successfully scoring the 75 required off the last 5 overs.

Glamorgan v Sussex, T20, Cardiff, 08/07/18

Following Friday's night's opening fixture victory away at Hampshire, there were high expectations for Glamorgan's first home game of the T20 campaign.

Sadly, on a sweltering afternoon at Sophia Gardens, a lackluster home display resulted in a comfortable 8 wicket win for the visitors from Sussex.

Colin Ingram (who else?) was the mainstay of Glamorgan's 173/4, but too few runs were scored in the 6 over powerplay.

Sussex rarely looked troubled in reply, with the ever excellent Luke Wright smashing 88 off 53 balls.

Glamorgan v Northamptonshire, County Championship Division 2, Cardiff, 25-28/06/18

Glamorgan's disappointing Championship season continued as the home side went down to a crushing 233 run defeat to Northamptonshire, who, prior to the game, had been bottom of the table.

In searing heat, with most of the crowd sitting in the shade, Glamorgan conceded a 27 run 1st innings lead, which was largely due to a superb 103 from Usman Khawaja, who became the first Glamorgan player to score 3 centuries in his first 3 games for the club.

Things went downhill from there, as Northants batsmen put the home bowlers to the sword. Ben Duckett returned to form with 133. Set an unlikely target of 433, the Welsh county rarely threatened, with no one passing fifty as they stumbled to 200 all out.

Glamorgan's 4 day form shows real cause for concern.
